Chengdu

I assume you know the name Chengdu because of the pandas, but it is a city of surprising contrasts: on the one hand, explosive modernity and a global technology center, and on the other, the capital of Sichuan province that zealously preserves a unique, peaceful and relaxed leisure culture. Imagine shiny skyscrapers next to traditional teahouses where time has stood still. The atmosphere in Chengdu is a fascinating combination of entrepreneurial energy with the famous Sichuan ease. Its people (over 15 million in number) are proud of their heritage, lovers of life and food, and the city invites you on an amazing journey where nature, tradition and innovation meet.

What is there to see in the city of Chengdu?
Chengdu is a city of sensory and human experiences. On the tour, we will focus on the key points that represent its unique combination of natural wonders, preserved Buddhist tradition, and its famous culinary culture.

Here is an example of some places the trip could take you:
Chengdu Panda Base: A global panda research and breeding center, located in a natural bamboo forest. See giant pandas and red pandas in their natural habitat and learn about the efforts to conserve them.

Wenshu Monastery: An ancient Buddhist temple, built in the 17th century. Discover traditional Buddhist architecture and find peace and tranquility in the heart of the bustling city.

Huanhu Park (Wenshuuanhuaxi Park): A rich natural park, full of greenery, streams, and diverse plants. We will experience nature in Chengdu and understand why the park has become an integral part of local life.

Jinli Ancient Street: An ancient street with shops and restaurants, built in a unique architectural style that combines traditional Chinese elements with modern Western elements. We will experience the vibrant energy of the city, and understand how it has become an international business and entertainment center.
