Hong Kong
Hong Kong is a vibrant, dynamic and contrasting city-state (population 7.5 million). Hong Kong offers an urban energy that is second to none in the world, a place where futuristic skyscrapers meet ancient Chinese temples, and bustling streets lead to magnificent green lungs.
The city is geographically and administratively divided into two main parts, separated by Victoria Harbour and each offering a completely different experience:
Kowloon: The traditional and cultural heart.
The mainland side of Hong Kong is the beating heart of Chinese tradition and culture. Here you will find bustling markets, ancient temples, and an authentic local atmosphere. Kowloon is known for its iconic skyline, offering the most spectacular views of Hong Kong Island's skyscrapers, especially in the evening when the city comes alive with the famous neon lights.
Hong Kong Island: The futuristic and financial center.
Hong Kong Island is the world's financial and business hub. Here you'll find the most futuristic skyscrapers, luxurious shopping malls, and spectacular modern architecture. Despite its modernity, the island also offers historical gems, hidden temples, and the famous Victoria Peak, which offers breathtaking views of the city and harbor.
Hong Kong locals are open, dynamic, and enterprising. Hong Kong is a city of aesthetics, innovation, fast pace, and fascinating contrasts.
